A Child's Dream

Another reader shares her heart-breaking story:

My name is Jamie. I am 9 years old. 2 year ago the doctor told me that I have interjunktival-osticular-nuroptosis. They said that there was almost 100% chance that I might die. My aunt said (my mom and dad died) that if I was cured I could get any wish I wanted.

Last week the same doctor told me that I will going to be fine!!!! But I am still sad. It's because my wish isn't coming true. I wanted more than anything for Brittany Buxton to go on vacation with her friends, so that was my wish. But she won't go. So now my wish is gone.

I guess my aunt lied. I'm very sad, so I don't care that I'm better. I wish Brittany could go so I could be happy and go play.
